Audience

This course is for database administrators responsible for the migration and support of SQL Server from version 2005 to the new 2008 release.

Prerequisites

Delegates should be experienced SQL Server administrators. Attending our SQL Server 2005 Administration class or equivalent knowledge is essential.

3 days. Hands on.

Course Objectives

This course will upgrade the delegates’ skills to SQL Server 2008 so that they can support, configure, and maintain enterprise SQL Server 2008 databases and servers. On completion of the course delegates will be able to:

  • Maintain the database.
  • Complete backup and restore functions.
