Audience

Administrators with responsibility for system security or developers, administrators or operators who require an understanding of security on the system.

Prerequisites

Attendees should have at least a knowledge of the system by attending the Introduction to iSeries class or have equivilant experience.

Duration

2 days. Hands on. (1 day without exercises)

Course Objectives

This course is designed to provide an overview of the security considerations and components on i (System i , i5, iSeries and AS/400). On completion delegates will be able to use system displays, menus, commands and iSeries Navigator to configure and maintain security.
