No knowledge of iSeries computing is expected although knowledge of the fundamentals of computing is assumed and familiarity of using a 5250 screen is helpful.

This course provides a technical introduction to your i (System i , i5, iSeries and AS/400). There are basic hands-on exercises to introduce system access. Both 5250 and iSeries Navigator are used on the course. On completion of this course the student will be able to: Use system displays, menus, commands, iSeries Navigator and Help.
