Audience

Operators and system administrators with little or no programming experience.

Prerequisites

Attendees should be familiar with the operating environment of the system. They should have attended iSeries Operations or have equivalent experience.

Duration

2 days. Hands on.

Course Objectives

This course provides an introduction to Command Language (CL) programming for operators an system administrators. It is assumed that attendees have little or no programming experience. Although the content of the course is basically the same as CL Programming for Programmers the examples, exercises and emphasis is on writing programs for an operations and system administration environment. On completion delegates will be able to write CL programs to perform operations and administration functions.
